Lady Thunderbird Basketball looks forward to a fresh season in the upcoming 2013-2014 season under second-year coach Erik Abbey. The 2012-2013 season was a transitional one as the team battled admirably throughout the season despite a roster that competed with only 7 players. Kiri Schumacher, a sophomore from Timber Lake, SD, was chosen Mon-Dak All-Conference and All-Region.

Recruiting will be the number one focus as the Thunderbird Women's Basketball Team looks to rebuild and regain its competitive presence in the difficult Mon-Dak Conference.
