Two Years Old

The Children's Dwelling is designed specifically for two-year olds and is conveniently located on the main floor of the Education Building. The former Student Health Center was transformed into a childcare center for our growing population!

Like a home, our center is a place where children can:

  • Relax and be themselves
  • Feel safe and secure
  • Be with the same caregivers every day
  • Work and play using different kinds of furnishings and varied lighting

Our staff is professionally trained and caring. A caregiver spends a considerable amount of time tending to each toddler's needs. OUr staff is:

  • Trained to provide this care in a loving and caring manner
  • Instructed to encourage toddlers to feed themselves while directly supervising them
  • Ready to assist with toilet training, when the child shows signs of readiness

What your child will need while at the Children's Dwelling:

  • Extra set of weather-appropriate clothes
  • Six diapers per day
  • Wipes
  • Other supplies as requested by your child's teacher
