BISMARCK (UTN) – United Tribes Technical College is hiring.

UTTC is offering current and former students the opportunity to earn $25 per hour to help clean-up the college campus while they clear-up an old college debt.

The project is part of a work repayment program aimed at helping students erase unpaid bills they may have accumulated while attending the tribal college in Bismarck.

UTTC’s spring clean-up campaign is scheduled from May 15 to 26.

“We’re offering this to help students help themselves as they clear-up their obligations,” says Leander “Russ” McDonald, UTTC President. “We cordially invite them to campus for meaningful work that will go specifically to erasing their outstanding debt.”

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 12.

UTTC will provide meals at no cost, and dormitory housing if needed. Only students with an outstanding debt are eligible. Each will become a temporary laborer, working with supervision on assigned projects to beautify the campus. Earnings will go toward the student’s outstanding bill.

The application form can be filed online in fillable format at the UTTC website http://www.uttc.edu/sites/default/files/PILOT.pdf or http://uttc.edu/hr under "Work Repayment Program" or at the college’s Human Resource department.

UTTC is an alcohol, drug and tobacco-free campus. Applicants will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.
