Step 1: Apply
All applicants* who wish to attend UTTC must complete an application online.
*International Students: UTTC can only accept international students who have a current I-129 Petition for Immigration Worker with the H1 status.
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid/Scholarships
Apply for financial aid to help make college more affordable. Students can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Step 3: Take a placement test
If a student has not completed the ACT/SAT within five years or hasn't received satisfactory grades in Math and English from another institution, the Accuplacer test must be taken prior to registration.
Documentation must be provided. (ACCUPLACER - this test can be taken on campus. If you have questions regarding the Accuplacer Test, please contact the Admissions Office.)
Step 4: Meet with your Admissions Counselor
Meet with your Admissions Counselor ensuring all required documents have been received. Students with financial aid should contact the Financial Aid Office 701-255-3285 ext. 3000.
Step 5: Attend Student Orientation
All students new to UTTC campus must attend the Student Orientation. All accepted students will be mailed out an invitation for this event. If you have not received this invitation please contact your Admissions Counselor.
