UTTC to Minot State University
Minot State University and United Tribes Technical College have created an agreement for students who earn their Associate of Science (AS) at UTTC to transfer to Minot State and enter the Psychology Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program.
Students will need to take the following General Education Requirements to receive their AS and transfer into MISU’s Psychology program.

After graduating from UTTC with their AS in General Studies the student will transfer to Minot State to earn their Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Graduation with an MISU’s Psychology major requires completion of major requirements and earning a C or better in all psychology courses, and earning a score falling in the percentile rank of no lower than one standard deviation below the national mean on the Psychology Major Field Test.
Students must complete 60 credits at a four-year university and 30 credits to from Minot State. Students must have 120 total credit hours to graduate with their Bachelor of Science degree from MISU.
The AS from UTTC will complete 60 of the 120 credit requirements. Once at MISU students will take the MISU Psychology Required Courses to fulfill the remaining 60 credits.

Admission to MISU. The MISU processes and considerations for evaluating applicants will be followed for admission. It is agreed that those students who receive the Associate of Science from UTTC and meet MISU admission criteria will be accepted without further review at MISU to the Psychology major. However, final admission to MISU is contingent on submission of the student’s application.
