Addiction Studies

The Addiction Studies AS degree program prepares students with an introduction to addressing substance use disorders through culturally informed counseling and treatment services. This degree program combines professional addiction counseling education with an emphasis on indigenous approaches to healing. Graduates who continue for their baccalaureate degrees are equipped to pursue certification as addiction counselors and can serve in leadership roles providing vital treatment services within tribal communities.
