Position Title: Theodore Jamerson Elementary School Custodian/Bus Driver- Close December 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Duties:
• Maintain full inventory of supplies; responsible for submitting supply orders.
• Performs a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance, and cleaning
of all TJES buildings.
• Maintain cleanliness, such as sweep, vacuum, shampoo, mop, wax, buff, strip, and
polish the floors.
• Clean, disinfect and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures including sinks, urinals, and floors.
• Empty, clean, disinfect, and sanitize waste baskets on a daily, weekly, or monthly
checklist of work performed.
• Assist with moving furniture in/out and to/from units/storage.
• Conduct all groundskeeping activities such as mowing grass, trimming hedges, raking
leaves, and removing snow.
• Bus driving duties, as needed.
• Must work a minimum of eight (8) hours for special events; and
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Working Conditions:
• Monday to Friday from 8 am – 5 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch.
• Shift work may take place on a schedule outside the normal working hours of 8:00-5:00
• Shifts may be early morning, late morning, or evening.
• Additional hours may be required.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work long periods in inclement weather.
• Must be able to run snow moving equipment, safely
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required, associates or trade certification preferred.
• Three (3) years of custodial work experience recommended.
• Must have a valid ND Commercial Driver’s License and be insurable under UTTC’s
insurance carrier. A copy needs to be submitted with the application.
Knowledge & Skills:
