Position Title: Cozy Creek Café Worker - Closes January 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

Reports Directly to: Cozy Creek Cafe Manager

Status: Non-exempt; Full-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Summary of Duties:

  • Perform the preparation of food and drink orders
  • Taking orders utilizing and maintaining POS system
  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
  • Handle complaints from customers
  • Maintain store presentation standards
  • Adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to health department specifications
  • Assist is the daily preparation of food items and cooking orders

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Working Conditions:

  • Various shifts Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends as designated.
  • Shift work is work that takes place on a schedule outside the normal working hours of Monday to Friday from 8 am – 5 pm with a one hour unpaid.
  • Shifts may include early morning, late morning, evening, night shifts, and rotating shifts.
  • Additional hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to go up and down stairs
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Cooking Experience a plus but not required
  • Other certification (e.g. Hospitality management or Business ) a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic short order cooking
  • High level of multitasking
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
