The Associate of Science in Computer Science equips students with a strong foundation in computational thinking, programming, and system design. This two-year degree prepares students to transfer into a four-year computer science program while building essential skills for today’s technology-driven world.
Students develop hands-on experience in core areas such as software development, database systems, data structures, algorithms, and operating systems. The program also introduces emerging fields, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, preparing students for the rapidly evolving landscape of computing.
With a balanced focus on theory and practical application, students engage in project-based learning, collaborative coding environments, and problem-solving experiences that mirror professional practice.
