Walk-in peer tutoring is available to help students who are having difficulty in a particular course. Our peer tutors are UTTC students who have performed well in specific courses and have been trained in tutoring policies and techniques.
Smarthinking is a free online tutoring service, whenever you need it. United Tribes Technical College offers a comprehensive online tutoring program that all students enrolled in UTTC can access through MyUTTC.
All of the instructors at United Tribes Technical College offer tutoring services for students in their classes. If students need assistance, please request help from the instructors who teach your class.
Free tutoring is available to help students develop study skills, manage their time, stay organized, learn and review course material, develop written and critical thinking skills, practice problem-solving, and learn ways to study “smarter” (not harder) in a differentiated way that’s best suited to their preferred learning style(s). We are located in the Lower Level of the Jack Barden Center, open 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
Remember, utilizing campus resources is a sign of strength: it shows perseverance, responsibility and a commitment to your goals. Your advisors, your teachers, and staff all across campus are happy to help you find the resources you’re looking for.
