Position Title: FARMS Project Administrative Assistant (part-time) - Close May 1, 2025 at 5:00 PM

Reports Directly to: Land Grant Director
Status: Non-exempt; Part-time
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Summary of Duties:
• Aid during hands-on demonstrations, ensuring all materials and resources are prepared and available.
• Act as a facilitator during events, helping engage participants and enhance their learning experience.
• Assist in the development of training materials and resources.
• Support the preparation of reports and analytics to track project progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop solutions and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in planning and executing community, UTTC, FARMS events. Including learning opportunities related to food sovereignty.
• Identify potential speakers and coordinate logistics, including ingredient sourcing and space setup.
• Performs all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the college.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Working Conditions:
• General office conditions. Normal working hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
• Monthly travel in-state and out-of-state will be required.
Physical Demands:
• Regularly be able to remain in a stationary position.
• Frequently move about inside an office, classroom, and kitchen lab.
• Operate a computer and other office/classroom equipment.
• Occasionally moving, transport, or position up to 30 pounds.
• Will need to ascend/descend stairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leadership roles, agriculture or non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated ability to assist in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of American Indians, cultures, and histories.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
- Knowledge of data management.
