UTTC offers a student-centered, flexible online learning experience designed for busy students balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities. The user-friendly platform supports both full-time and part-time learners as they navigate UTTC’s online programs.
Courses are instructor-led and structured in weekly modules, each with clearly defined assignments, learning activities, and deadlines. While students have flexibility in when and where they complete their work, they are expected to engage consistently throughout the week and meet established due dates. This format provides both flexibility and accountability, ensuring students stay on track while benefiting from regular interaction and guidance from their instructor.
All courses are delivered online, so basic computer skills – including the use of a web browser and word processing software – are essential. Regular online participation and communication with instructors are also key components of student success.
With access to a computer and reliable internet service, students can engage with course content, participate in discussion forums, submit assignments, and complete assessments through the my.uttc.edu learning management system.
UTTC participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which allows the institution to offer online programs to students residing in other participating states. NC-SARA establishes national standards for interstate distance education and helps ensure that students receive a high-quality, consistent online learning experience regardless of location.
UTTC offers two bachelor’s degrees and four associate degrees completely online, in addition to being offered on the UTTC campus:
- Business Administration (AS and BS)
- Criminal Justice (AS and BS)
- Elementary Education (AS)
- General Studies (AS)
