Summary of Duties:
The Project Activity Coordinator will assist the TCUP (Tribal College & Universities Program) Leadership Team in the implementation of the project. Primary responsibilities will include data collection, record management, arranging travel, completing purchase orders, and other administrative related tasks. The Project Activity Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Assistant Project Director, in addition to the UTTC Finance Office and Grants Office personnel, to ensure the project is complying with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Summary of Duties:
• Complete purchase orders, travel requests, consultant agreements, and reimbursements in accordance with UTTC policies.
• Coordinate travel arrangements as directed by the PI/PD and the Leadership Team to facilitate the TCUP Hub activities.
• Maintain and reconcile a cuff account to assist the PI/PD and the Leadership Team with the management of the project.
• Create, maintain, and update a project calendar, participant lists, consultant contacts, and other databases to facilitate initiatives of the TCUP Hub.
• Document and maintain proper records of the activities, resources, and expenditures of the TCUP Hub, including the Hawai‘I Mini-Hub.
• Coordinate with the PI/PD, the Assistant Project Director, and the Leadership Team to implement the TCUP Hub project.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Working Conditions:
- General office conditions. Normal working hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with one-hour lunch.
- Rarely may need to work additional hours for special events, meeting/presentations or infrequent travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
• Regularly be able to remain in a stationary position
• Occasionally move about inside an office and/or classroom
• Operate a computer and other office/classroom equipment
• Occasionally move, transport, or position up to 25 pounds
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- One (1) year of experience working in a professional environment with similar duties.
- Must be respectful, flexible, have a high level of customer services skills and strong work ethic.
